Rohnert Park is a city in Sonoma County, California, situated approximately 80 km north of San Francisco. Originally inhabited by the Coast Miwok, the area was granted as Rancho Cotate in 1844. The city was incorporated in 1962, becoming the first in Sonoma County since 1905.
