Rosina is a village in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia, historically mentioned as early as 1135. The village was under the domain of Strecno castle for centuries, with a period under Jesuit control from 1685 to 1773. The first wooden church was built in 1645 thanks to Ladislav Révai.
