Rumburk is a town in the Děčín District, Ústí nad Labem Region, Czech Republic, bordering Germany. First mentioned in 1298, it gained town status in 1377 and became a center of the Tolštejn estate with a Renaissance castle built in 1566. The town experienced industrial growth due to English merchants in the 18th century and railway construction in 1869.
