Summary

Ryglice is a town in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Tarnów County, historically granted town privileges in 1824 and again from 2001. It was first mentioned in 1301, granted by Władysław I the Elbow-high to local noblemen. During WWII, the village suffered destruction by retreating German forces and the loss of its Jewish community in the Holocaust.
