San Ignacio is a town and municipality located in Misiones Province, north-eastern Argentina. It's situated near the San Ignacio valley, approximately 60 kilometers north of Posadas. In 1984, it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its historical Jesuit reductions.
