Sassenheim

Sassenheim is a town in the province of South Holland, Netherlands, historically a municipality until 2006 when it became part of Teylingen. Its name originates from the Saxon settlers and Old Frankish word for 'home'. The ruins of Castle Teylingen, once a stronghold and residence of Countess Jacoba of Bavaria, are a notable attraction.
