Schöppenstedt

Schöppenstedt is a town in Lower Saxony, Germany, situated near the Elm and Asse hill ranges. First mentioned in 1051, it historically lay on a trade route and was once held by the Welf dukes. The town features a notable leaning tower at St. Stephen's Church.
