Senlis

Senlis is a commune in the Oise department of northern France, historically significant for its Roman origins as Augustomagus. Early French monarchs favored Senlis due to its proximity to the Chantilly forest for hunting. The town features a well-preserved Gothic cathedral and remnants of a Roman amphitheater.
