Seoul

Seoul is the capital and most populous city of South Korea, serving as a major political and economic center. Founded in 18 BC by the Baekje people, it became the official capital during the Joseon dynasty and was fortified with the Seoul Fortress Wall. Despite devastation during the Korean War, Seoul underwent rapid reconstruction and now hosts numerous global corporations and international events.
