Summary
Seraing is a municipality located in Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. Historically, the area was a Carolingian farming domain donated to the abbey of Sint-Truiden in 956. The city became a major industrial center with the founding of ironworks in 1809 by John Cockerill.
