Skalat

Skalat is a city in the Ternopil Raion of western Ukraine, serving as the administrative center of the Skalat urban hromada. Historically, it was part of the Ruthenian Voivodeship and later the Austrian crown land of Galicia. The city is notable for its castle, which was expanded in the 17th century.
