Smila

Smila is a city located on the Dnieper Upland in the Cherkasy Oblast of Ukraine, situated along the Tiasmyn River. Founded as a Cossack settlement in the late 16th century, it later came under the administration of the Polish noble Lubomirski family. The city experienced significant industrial growth following the construction of the Fastiv-Znamianka railway line.
