Sneek

Sneek is a historic city in the Dutch province of Friesland, serving as the seat of the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân. Founded in the 10th century, it is famous for its iconic Waterpoort and for hosting the annual Sneekweek sailing event. The city is one of the traditional eleven Frisian cities and possesses its own unique dialect known as Snekers.
