Summary
Stepan is a rural settlement located in the Sarny Raion of the Rivne Oblast in western Ukraine. Situated on the left bank of the Horyn River, it has a history dating back to its first written mention in 1290. During the Second World War, the town was the site of a Jewish ghetto established by Nazi forces.
