Storozhynets

Storozhynets is a city located in the Chernivtsi Oblast of western Ukraine, situated within the historic region of Bukovina. It was first mentioned in 1448 and later became part of the Austrian Empire as the Duchy of Bukovina in 1774. The city serves as the administrative center for the local urban hromada.
