Summary

Tiszavasvári is a town located in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. It was formed through the merger of the settlements Tiszabűd and Szentmihály in 1941. The town was renamed in 1952 to honor Pál Vasvári, a prominent figure of the 1848 Hungarian Revolution.
