Torroella de Montgrí

Torroella de Montgrí is a coastal municipality in Catalonia, located on the banks of the Ter River near the Costa Brava. The town is dominated by the Montgrí Massif and its ancient fortress, the Montgrí Castle, which overlooks the medieval core of the settlement. It serves as a key staging point for the GR 92 long-distance footpath along the Mediterranean coast.
