Toyotomi, Hokkaido

Toyotomi is a town located in the Sōya Subprefecture of Hokkaido, Japan, facing the Sea of Japan. It encompasses the Sarobetsu Plain, which is part of the Rishiri-Rebun-Sarobetsu National Park, and features the northernmost hot spring resort in the country. The area has a history rooted in coal mining and natural gas exploration.
