Tunja

Tunja is a high-altitude city in the Colombian Andes and serves as the capital of the Boyacá department. Originally an indigenous Muisca settlement known as Hunza, it was formally established by Spanish conquistadors in 1539. The city is renowned for its well-preserved colonial architecture.
