Ubá

Ubá is a municipality in the Zona da Mata region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, serving as a major hub for the furniture industry. The city's name derives from the indigenous term for the grass used to make arrows by the local Coroado people. It was settled following the decline of mining activities.
