Ulyanovsk Urban Okrug

Ulyanovsk is a major city on the Volga River, historically known as Simbirsk until its 1924 renaming. It is the birthplace of Vladimir Lenin and Alexander Kerensky, playing a pivotal role in Russian revolutionary history. The city is recognized as a UNESCO City of Literature.
