Valencia, Bukidnon

Valencia is a component city in Bukidnon province, Philippines, serving as a key center for trade and commerce. Originally settled by Bukidnon natives along the Pulangi and Dumanggas rivers, the area was named after Valencia, Bohol, by its first teacher, Leon Galorport. The city's origins trace back to thirteen barangays of Malaybalay and was formally established as a municipality in the early 20th century.
