Valledupar

Valledupar is a Colombian city and municipality, serving as the capital of the Cesar Department. Named after the indigenous Cacique Upar, it's situated between the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Serranía del Perijá mountains. The city is a cultural hub, renowned as the birthplace of vallenato music and host to the Vallenato Legend Festival.
