Vaughan

Vaughan is a city located in the Regional Municipality of York, north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Named after British commissioner Benjamin Vaughan, who signed a peace treaty with the US in 1783, it experienced rapid growth between 1996 and 2006. Originally populated by the Huron-Wendat, the area saw European settlement beginning in the late 18th century.
