Veľké Kosihy is a village in Komárno District, Nitra Region of southwest Slovakia. First mentioned in 1268, it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary, returned to Czechoslovakia after 1918, and briefly rejoined Hungary via the First Vienna Award (1938‑1945). Notable resident Ľudovít Ódor served as Prime Minister of Slovakia in 2023.
