Verkhnodniprovsk is a city located in the Kamianske Raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Ukraine. It is situated at the confluence of the Samotkan river and the Kamianske Reservoir on the Dnieper. Established in 1780 on a Zaporozhian zymivnyk site, it served as a povit centre during the Tsarist era.
