Vibo Valentia

Vibo Valentia serves as the capital of the Vibo Valentia province, functioning as a key agricultural and tourist hub. The city is situated on a large, hilly terrace and its municipal area extends from sea level to 567 meters above sea level. Originally settled by the Sicel tribe, it was later colonized by the Greeks in the 6th or 7th century BCE.
