Vidreres is a municipality located in the comarca of La Selva, within the province of Girona and the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. It historically supported the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War until February 2, 1939. A Republican aviation landing strip was constructed near the town during the conflict, on the Plana.
