Vitebsk

Vitebsk is a city in north-eastern Belarus, serving as the administrative center of Vitebsk Region. It developed from a river harbor at the confluence of the Vitba and Western Dvina rivers. Historically, it was a crucial point on the trade route from the Varangians to the Greeks.
