Vyshhorod is a city in Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine, north of Kyiv. Historically, it served as a residence for rulers of Kievan Rus', notably Saint Olga and Vladimir the Great. The city was sacked by Mongols in 1240 and later revived as an industrial center.
