Summary
Vyškov is a town in the South Moravian Region, historically significant as a crossroads of trade routes. It was acquired by the Olomouc bishops in the 13th century, who held it for over 600 years. Karl II von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn rebuilt the castle in the late 17th century, earning Vyškov the nickname "Moravian Versailles".
