Willebroek

Willebroek is a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp, comprising the towns of Blaasveld, Heindonk, Tisselt, Klein Willebroek and Willebroek proper. It lies on the Willebroek Canal, which connects the town to Brussels and hosts the annual Kanaalfeesten music and fair festival. The town’s bridge over the canal is famed in the folk song “De Brug van Willebroek” by Wannes Van de Velde.
