Willemstad, North Brabant

Willemstad is a historic fortified city in the Dutch province of North Brabant, located along the Hollands Diep. It was fortified in 1583 by William the Silent and features a distinctive heptagonal layout with seven bastions. The town is home to a notable 17th-century Reformed Church and the historic Gouvernementshuis, which served as a residence for the governor.
