Yurimaguas

Yurimaguas is a port town situated in the Loreto Region of northeastern Peru, at the confluence of the Huallaga and Paranapura Rivers. Known as the "Pearl of the Huallaga", it serves as the capital of both Alto Amazonas Province and Yurimaguas District. The town has a rich history linked to the Mainas missions and is a commercial hub for local farmers and fishermen.
