Zama, Kanagawa

Zama is a city located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, approximately 50km from Tokyo. Historically, it was a post station on the Tōkaidō road during the Edo period, administered by the Tokugawa shogunate. The area saw significant development with the arrival of railways in the early 20th century.
