Zbarazh is a small city in Ternopil Oblast, western Ukraine, situated in the historical region of Galicia. First mentioned in 1211, it served as a Ruthenian fortress and later a seat for the Gediminid princes. The city was a site of conflict during the Polish-Ukrainian War and experienced a significant Jewish community before WWII.
