Zelzate

Zelzate is a municipality situated in the East Flanders province of Belgium, consisting solely of the town itself. The town is bisected by the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal, connected by a drawbridge and tunnel. Historically, Zelzate faced challenges with industrial pollution, but recent investments by ArcelorMittal Ghent have significantly reduced emissions.
