Zernograd, literally "Grain town", is a town in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located 71 km southeast of Rostov-on-Don. Founded in 1915 as Verblyud halt due to railway construction, it became a settlement in 1933. The town hosts the 16th Army Aviation Brigade at its airbase.
