Zhashkiv

Zhashkiv is a city located in the Cherkasy Oblast of Ukraine. It gained city status in 1956 and historically belonged to the estates of the Ostrozki princes in the 17th century. The town was mentioned on Guillaume Lavasseur De Beauplan's map and later became part of the Russian Empire in the late 18th century.
