Summary
Zuhres is a city in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, currently under Russian occupation. Founded in 1929 as a settlement for a thermal power plant built under the GOELRO plan, it was initially named after the plant itself. During WWII, the city experienced occupation and mass executions of Jews and communists by German forces.
