Summary
The Berar Sultanate was a medieval kingdom located on the Deccan Plateau in India. It was founded in 1490 by Fathullah Imad-ul-Mulk following the decline of the Bahmani Sultanate. The state was eventually annexed by the Ahmadnagar Sultanate in 1574.
