Summary
The Ramadanid Emirate existed from 1352 to 1608 in Cilicia, succeeding the Armenian Kingdom. Initially a Mamluk protectorate, it gained de facto independence for over a century before becoming an Ottoman protectorate in 1517. Its capital was the city of Adana.
