Crimean People's Republic

The Crimean People's Republic was a short-lived state established on the Crimean Peninsula following the Russian Revolution. It was initiated by the Kurultai of Crimean Tatars to represent the diverse ethnic groups of the region. The republic collapsed shortly after its formation amidst the broader regional instability of the era.
