Summary
The Democratic Federal Yugoslavia was a provisional state created during World II on 29 November 1943 by the Anti‑Fascist Council for the National Liberation of Yugoslavia. It functioned under the leadership of Marshal Josip Broz Tito and was recognized by the Allies at the Tehran Conference. The entity existed until the formation of the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia in 1945.
