Democratic Kampuchea

Democratic Kampuchea was the official name of Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979. The regime pursued radical agrarian policies, forced evacuations of cities, and mass killings that resulted in a genocide. It was overthrown by Vietnamese forces, leading to the establishment of the People's Republic of Kampuchea.
