Summary
Dhami was a princely state located in the hills west of Shimla, in what is today Himachal Pradesh, India. The state formed part of the Punjab Hill States Agency during the British Raj and was ruled by Chauhan Rajput chiefs who traced their lineage to Delhi. After Indian independence, Dhami was merged into Himachal Pradesh in 1948, ending its status as a separate entity.
