Duchy of Teschen

The Duchy of Teschen was a Silesian duchy centered on the town of Cieszyn. It emerged from the feudal division of Poland and was ruled by the Piast dynasty until 1653. Later, it became a fiefdom of the Bohemian Crown and eventually part of the Habsburg monarchy.
