Summary
The Free State of Waldeck-Pyrmont was a constituent state of the Weimar Republic formed after the German Revolution. Parts of the territory were integrated into Prussia in the early 1920s. The remainder was incorporated into the Prussian province of Hesse-Nassau in 1929.
