Summary
Hiyoshi was a town in Hioki District of Kagoshima Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. In 2005 it merged with neighboring towns to form the city of Hioki, ceasing to exist as an independent municipality. The area was characterized by a mix of agricultural land and coastal scenery.
