Italian Empire

The Italian colonial empire comprised the overseas territories, protectorates, and dependencies held by the Kingdom of Italy. It expanded significantly during the late 19th and early 20th centuries across Africa and the Mediterranean. The empire formally dissolved following the geopolitical shifts after World War II.
